暑期已尽，金秋临近，在这灿烂的季节，我校国际部全体教师沐浴晨光，回到久别的校园，开始了新学期的征程。

在国际部蒋校长的主持下，大家齐聚一堂，畅所欲言，共同解读本学期学校下发的工作要求和目标。新学期，为了成为顺应时代发展的教育者，学校对全体教师提出了争做“新时代‘四有’好教师”的要求，即有理想信念、有道德情操、有扎实学识、有仁爱之心。并希望新老拔萃人能够成为“学生锤炼品格、学习知识、创新思维、奉献祖国的引路人”。此外，学校在多年的教育实践中，积累了很多经验，从经验中我们深知尊重学生发展是整个教育体系中至关重要的环节，把学生培养成“行为规范、习惯良好、学业优良、身体强健、艺术特长、双语学能、家国情怀、国际视野、志存高远、出类拔萃”是我们最终的教育目标。

在学校下发的工作计划中，开展“高效课堂”的任务又一次成为教学中的重点，并且在新学期，这项工作与常规管理专项考评相关联，旨在激励教师提升业务技能，提高课堂效率，让学生收获更多的新知。

怀着对未来的憧憬，对收获的期盼，本学期国际部第一次教师会议在饱含热情的氛围中结束，每一位教师如同积极备战的士兵般等待新的挑战！

On Monday, August 28, 2018, the International Department of Bacui Bilingual school held an effective meeting, echoing the impact of current situation specific to the shrinking of students admission as Beijing's non-capital functions continue to dissolve at an increased rate.

Hanna Jiang, the International Department principal led all the teachers through a break through experience by digging deeper into the key concepts including "Four Haves" good teachers and " Four Roles in Leading Students to Grow". In addition to the inspiring interpretation of the dynamic take away, we reviewed our mission statement. Our International Department's mission is to cultivate students to achieve the 40-word description of a well-rounded global citizen.

This exhilarating meeting has achieved two great goals in setting out how the school will weather this storm. First, the faculty were empowered with a deeper understanding and roles in carrying the work to develop the best in each student. It is this unity in thought which lead to the implementation of the 2018-2019 academic yearly plans.

Feedback from participants of the meeting expressed their excitement as this crisis has turned into a golden opportunity for this academic community to welcome aboard 10 new teachers and work should to shoulder in pressing toward the goal with hope and renewed sense of purpose for this year.
